Congratulations to the staff and students who put on an amazing version of Legally Blonde Jr last month. They have worked so hard for the past few months and this was clearly evident in the slick and professional performance they produced over three nights.
Particular word of thanks to our amazingly talented Woodwork, Metalwork & Art teachers, Mr O’Callaghan, Mr Darmody & Ms Cleary for creating such a wonderful set. Thanks to all teachers and students who produced our programmes, tickets, organised nightly raffles, helped with costumes, lights, makeup, props, advertising and fundraising. It really was a whole school effort and we are all eternally thankful of all you did to make the shows such a success. We were especially honoured to have had the CEO of DDLETB, Mr Paddy Lavelle in attendance for one of the nights and he was blown away by the standard of the production.
The show was produced by four very committed and talented teachers – Ms Ní Chrualaíoch, Ms Madden, Ms Waldron and Ms O’Neill – who helped to get the best out of a really talented group of students.
Finally, to the students themselves – you should all be extremely proud of yourselves. You constantly expected the best of yourselves and from others and it paid off each and every time you performed on stage. We can’t wait for the 2020 school musical already!
